Who are we?
One of the Ozark’s best-known nurseries for over 30 years, Carson’s Nurseries is located south of Springfield, Missouri, on the banks of the James River. Our nursery has a long-standing reputation for growing and selling excellent plant stock and providing extraordinary landscaping services. We are very happy to bring you exceptional plant choices at competitive prices, along with knowledgeable horticulturalists and landscaper designers to make your yard the envy of the neighborhood.
Carson's Main Retail Location
We are your destination for all things landscaping in the Southwest Missouri Region. Our main retail location sits on 16 acres full of trees, shrubs, perennials, seasonal annuals, sod, gravel, rock, boulder, mulch, soil, and compost. The list just does not seem to end.
Our retail team has the knowledge to help your property succeed and look better than ever. They can help you find exactly what you’re looking for and answer questions along the way! If you see anyone in a bright neon shirt and need some help, do not be afraid to ask!
Our landscape and design team has over 90 years of combined experience working in the Springfield MO area doing residential and commercial properties.
Carson's Greenhouse and Gifts
In Spring of 2023 we opened Carson’s Greenhouse and Gifts across the street from our main retail location. We have expanded to offering a variety of houseplants and tropical plants in the greenhouses. The gift shop which is connected to the greenhouses sells local art and gifts for any occasion.
Our selection of fish, aquatic plants, and pond supplies have been relocated up the greenhouse. Our Greenhouse and Gifts team is extremely knowledgable about fish and aquatic plants. Concrete statuary, fountains, and large planters have also been moved up to the Greenhouse and Gifts location where we have more space to store all kinds of designs and styles for any property.
Events are regularly hosted at the Greenhouses throughout the month. Whether with a significant other, family, friends, or by yourself we have different workshops for to suite your taste. Tickets can be purchased on the events page here on our website.
